Hello and Welcome to Harish's World. I am Harish (should be obvious isn't it). This website is still in it's nascent state and I have some plans which I hopefully will be executing quite soon. In the mean time if you have anything to say about this website, be it either suggestions or comments, feel free to sign my Guest Book.
Comex - Comic Viewer plug-in for Eclipse (Update)
harish — Sat, 12/09/2006 - 21:21
I have been kind of busy off late and was hence unable to update my site, and also the enhancements I had proposed for this plugin. But as they say, its better late than never.
Coming to the point, some of the features added to this version of the plug-in include
- Navigation through Mouse
- Numbering of Pages (I have no idea how I could forget such a basic necessity in the initial version)
- Enable jumping to a particular page
Comex - Comic Book Reader Plug-in for Eclipse
harish — Sun, 10/01/2006 - 20:15
Having been a developer for two years, I was introduced to various tools and technologies involving Java. The application that caught my attention was Eclipse. It wouldn't be right to call Eclipse just an application, It is a Platform. I began working using Eclipse considering it a mere Java IDE, but now my whole notion of Eclipse is completely different. The more I worked on it, the more it fascinated me.
Gone to the Humans
harish — Mon, 09/11/2006 - 18:30
What is with these humans (myself included)? They are supposed to be a species with far better intelligence than the rest. Actually they do seem to be so, but this greedy nature that is rampantly inherent in them causes the other aspects of their so called intelligence (come on, the word intelligence was also made up by us i.e. humans) either diminish or it seems to be completely absent. Ok, what am I blabbering about?
The Wait Goes On
harish — Sun, 08/27/2006 - 19:31
It started a long time ago. I started reading Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. My friend had most of the books. Eventually I finished reading all but one of the series. The missing one was The Valley of Fear. It was then I started searching for the book and had to wait for almost a year to find the book (I could have bought the whole series that is being published in 2 volumes, but there were no book store which was close to my place and I was also too lazy to go to the other shops
) This sparked the Fire called Wait.
Types of Programming
harish — Tue, 06/20/2006 - 10:40
There are many programming languages. Some common and some many would not even have heard of. It's not just the syntax of the programs that make a language different, but the style of programming in that language is what makes it different. A typical example of this is C and C++. Both follow almost the same syntax. But the style of programming in both varies.
