I am back!!

But the main question is "for how long"? I was surprised when I noticed that my last update was in December 2007, and given the fact that I wanted to add a gallery to upload the snaps I had taken down under, I decided that it was time I revamped my website.
Initially I wanted to use wordpress as a CMS for by website, but after hearing about drupal from my cousin and checking on its features I decided to use drupal instead. For now I have used drupal just enough to get back the functionality my old site had. After looking at various templates, I decided on using the Deco template. Based on my future free time, I intend to make more use of drupal with its numerous wonderful modules. The first thing on my stack is to setup a gallery, followed by creating a "drupal usable" template for my site based on one created by my cousin. As usual I have no idea when I'll be able to pop these items. Meanwhile if any of you already use drupal, then it would help if you can share your experience with drupal by commenting here.

WP has more plugins/themes than drupal i guess (might be wrong)
Drupal or WP?
harish — Fri, 01/16/2009 - 08:33Yes WP does have a lot more themes, and more plugins, but for maintaining a full featured website rather than a blog, atleast I feel Drupal is a better option. Moreover, lots of plugins are turning up for Drupal, so it might catch up with WP soon.
Welcome!
