What do you call guys who have no originality? I don't know if the word Plagiarism fits the bill in this case, though it comes pretty close. But the person who is involved in this particular incident is literally a copy cat.

Exactly one month to go, and we will have the final installment of the Harry Potter series in our midst. There is no point in hiding that I thoroughly enjoyed the series so far, and am eagerly waiting for Deathly Hallows. But this post is not about the book or the series (or the movie for that matter), but a certain news I read today, that rather amused me...

What happens when you ask a friend who is a software engineer to test your application when he is irritated (most probably by some dumb queries or defects at his workplace)? You will most likely bear the brunt of his frustration. I happened to be in such a situation when I asked my friend to check out my comic reader application. What followed was...

Today is the end of a glorious career spanning over 17 years. When I first read about it after the Bangladesh vs. West Indies match, I was shocked. I didn't expect Brian Charles Lara to retire from test cricket. Some part of me hoped against all odds, that the press had quoted him wrong. As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end...

What is with these humans (myself included)? They are supposed to be a species with far better intelligence than the rest. Actually they do seem to be so, but this greedy nature that is rampantly inherent in them causes the other aspects of their so called intelligence (come on, the word intelligence was also made up by us i.e. humans) either diminish or it seems to be completely absent. Ok, what am I blabbering about?

It started a long time ago. I started reading Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. My friend had most of the books. Eventually I finished reading all but one of the series. The missing one was The Valley of Fear. It was then I started searching for the book and had to wait for almost a year to find the book (I could have bought the whole series that is being published in 2 volumes, but there were no book store which was close to my place and I was also too lazy to go to the other shops :D ) This sparked the Fire called Wait.

I am surprised that the human mind is so gullible. Just how easy it is for someone to jump to conclusions without even waiting to get the complete fact or story. No wonder the more intelligent beings of the human race so easily manipulate the others and get away with anything. You must be wondering what am I blabbering? Well proceed further only after you have read this article (including the comments).

First Test, India vs. West Indies, Antigua, West Indian First Innings - Brian Charles Lara got out to a rash stroke wide outside the off stump. Indian second Innings - Mohammed to Dhoni, as usual Dhoni slogs, Ganga takes a catch at (or on) the boundary line, referred to the 3rd Umpire, about 15 minutes wasted and no decision made. Lara gets agitated, speaks to the umpires, snatches the ball from Umpire Asad Rauf and gives it to Mohammed. There's mayhem. Dhoni walks off, Innings is then declared. After this Lara played 3 innings so far in the series. In all 3 innings he has been (given?) out LBW. On all 3 occasions the umpire was Asad Rauf. Is it just a coincidence??

After a long break, I started watching cricket matches again. I always used to watch them in bits and pieces, but now that I have move time to spare, I watch them in larger patches. In doing so one thing struck me hard, I don't know if it was only for me or if even others experienced the same feeling. One thing is for sure, I haven't read about it either in the papers or on the net. Where have all the bowlers gone?

I've been having this idea to have my own website for more than 3 months now. So started learning HTML, CSS, PHP and whatever was required to construct a site. I setup a developing environment and created a nice website template I could use. Then as usual I got bored and put it off saying I'll do it later. A week or two later, I started writing articles to put up on my future website. After a couple of them, I stopped with that too.....
